It does have outer anthers (the strawberry-coloured blobs) as well although I've never seen them pollen covered so not sure what that's all about!

West Mill Lane, Small Dole, Henfield, W Sussex. The plant gradually turns redder as it ages, especially if sun-stressed. These are the classic, geranium-style, developing fruits - the sepals will eventually burst open to reveal them.
